SUMMER SCHOOLS
- International Summer School in “Political Communication and Electoral Behaviour”
Milan, 6-11July 2020
The School was inaugurated in 2007 and in 2020 is at its 7th edition. It is held every other year. Since 2014 it is co-organized by our Department and by the Political Communication Division of the ICA (International Communication Association).
The School focuses on the main theoretical and research questions regarding the relation between political communication scholarship and political science/political sociology perspectives with a special focal point on the influence of communication factors on political and electoral behaviour.
The Faculty, beside some members of our Department, gathers renowned International scholars in the related fields. The School is open to 30 Doctoral students, and early career researchers, admitted on a competitive basis through an international call.
A certificate and 6 ECTS will be awarded to each participant successfully completing the School.

The School is headed by Gianpietro Mazzoleni, Marco Maraffi, Lorenzo Mosca, and Sergio Splendore for the Department, and by Kimberley Gross (George Mason University, Chair of the ICA division).
